Family graves covered in deep-pile artificial grass

Family graves cleaned up and covered in deep-pile artificial grass, so they stay tidy between visits.

After: the same grave covered in neat green artificial grass
Before: grave covered in grey gravel with weeds coming through
Before After

A gravel grave needs weeding and topping up, and a grass one needs cutting. If you don’t live nearby, neither is easy to keep on top of. Deep-pile artificial grass keeps the plot green and tidy in between visits.

The old gravel and weeds come out first. Then the plot is levelled, a membrane goes down so nothing grows up through it, and the grass is cut to sit snug inside the kerbs. A lot of families have it done before Christmas or ahead of an anniversary.

Every cemetery has its own rules, so check with the parish or the council’s burial ground office before any work is done. If you’re not sure who to ask, we can help.
